Keep Your Steam!
There is nothing like getting in a nice hot shower and just standing there, for however long it takes, soothing your tired or sore muscles, relaxing or maybe just to warm up after being out in the cold. And it's great when you step out of the shower to a nice warm, steamy bathroom that lets you dry off and put your robe or clothing on before you open the door and let the change in the air temperature hit you! There can be a downside to all of this steamy stuff though, if you do not have a vapor barrier, the moisture can accumulate behind your shower wall and into the walls and insulation of your house around your shower and cause mold and also begin to break down the structure of the wood. And the worst part is all of your steam from your nice warm shower leaks out of your cozy bathroom also letting the cold air in! So, take a look at the link below and see the materials you will need and how easy it is to fix this problem and enjoy a worry free shower!
