A Beauty In The Woods

You are in the middle of the deep woods on a hunting expedition with your friends.  The only luxuries you have are tents with sleeping bags and your campfire utensils.  While on this expedition, your friends have met up with another group of campers that happen to be a group of expert female hunters and they want to invite your hunting group to their camp to share in a celebration campfire meal of the ten point buck that one of their members killed with her rifle the night before.  You, being the eligible bachelor that you are, would love to attract a fellow female hunter for a serious relationship, that hopefully leads to a life long marriage of hunting.  But how can you make a good first impression when your hair, (greasy from three days of hunting, and plastered to your head from wearing your favorite hunting cap), looks like this!  You can use the cordless razor you brought for your whiskers, but short of shaving your head, there's not much you can do to your hair in the forty degree weather with no warm water.  While sitting in a lawn chair next to the campfire wondering what you should do, you look over and see one of your buddies frantically rubbing his hair with a white cloud of dust all around him.  After the dust settles, he whips a comb from his back pocket, and within seconds he looks good enough to go to a formal dinner in a fancy restaurant.  You get up from your lawn chair and walk over to him to see just what magic powder he has, and he reveals to you his secret.  Take a look at the link below to see what you can pack ahead of time for just in case instances like this or other emergency situations you might be in, where your hair is dirty and you don't have time or don't have access to water to wash it.

InDoor Bar-B-Qing

You want bar-b-que chicken really bad, but it is so hot outside and burn bans are on everywhere.  You have lots of friends and family over and everyone just can't wait for that delicious smell and taste.  The only thing you can do is to move the bar-b-que inside instead!  Bar-b-quing is an American tradition, and great for big family gatherings or parties, but when the conditions outside won't allow it, you can use the oven instead of the grill.  The taste will be just as flavorful and you can cook it in the comfort of air conditioning!  You may have to allow a little longer for the chicken to cook in the oven, but that will just give you more time to enjoy socializing with your guests and they may even thank you for it!  For directions on how to make this meal a success, click on the link below to see what you will need and how to cook your bird.
